PUBLIC OVERVIEW · AUGUST 2026

Ruble CoreWhitepaper.

A concise explanation of what Ruble is, how its network operates and how new coins enter circulation.

01

PURPOSE

Independent digital money secured by proof of work.

Ruble Core is an open blockchain with the native asset Ruble, ticker RUB. Transactions are recorded by a public network and can be verified independently through a full node or block explorer.

Not a fiat currency

RUB is not issued by a central bank, is not backed by the Russian ruble or another national currency, and does not promise a fixed market price or investment return.

02

NETWORK MODEL

One public chain, one shared history.

Miners perform SHA-256d proof of work to propose blocks. Nodes independently validate transactions and blocks against the same consensus rules before accepting them. The target interval is one block every three minutes, while actual discovery times remain probabilistic.

03

DIFFICULTY

ASERT adjusts after every block.

ASERT compares block progress with the three-minute schedule and adjusts mining difficulty continuously. Its two-hour half-life is designed to respond to sustained hashrate changes without abrupt period-based resets.

The target interval is a long-run objective, not a promise that every individual block will arrive in exactly three minutes.

04

MONETARY POLICY

Issuance is determined by block height.

Initial ordinary subsidy
100 RUB per block
Halving interval
Every 500,000 blocks
Premine
5,000,000 RUB at block 1
Tail emission
0.1 RUB per block from height 5,000,000
Maximum total supply
No fixed cap because tail emission continues

The premine supports development, infrastructure, marketing, integrations and listings. No additional private allocation is defined by the reward schedule.

05

MINING ACCESS

Direct mining today, merged-mining integrations next.

Native SHA-256 mining

Compatible ASIC miners can submit Ruble work directly through the public pool or another compatible pool.

AuxPoW merged mining

The protocol supports merged mining so compatible parent-chain work can secure Ruble. External pool availability is introduced only after integration qualification.

Pool fees and payout methods are service policies. They do not change the block reward, halving schedule or consensus supply rules.
